Use case · Vendor and partner screening
Know your vendors as well as they know your business.
A new supplier, contractor or channel partner gets access to your operations, your data or your customers. We investigate the company and its owners before they do, so a shell company or a sanctioned owner never makes it onto your vendor list.
What goes wrong without it
What a vendor questionnaire won’t tell you.
A company that isn’t what it claims
Recently formed entities, mismatched addresses and owners who appear behind several suppliers at once.
Sanctions and exclusion exposure
Owners or affiliates on OFAC and global sanctions lists, or excluded from federal awards, that put your contracts at risk.
Disputes with other customers
Breach-of-contract suits, judgments and liens that show how the vendor treats the companies it works for.
What we check
The searches that matter most for a vendor.
Every vendor case runs the full package on the company and each owner. These are the searches that most often stop an onboarding.
See all 28 searches →OFAC and global sanctions
Sanctioned owners, affiliates or addresses, for the vendor and every principal.
SAM.gov award check
Exclusions from federal awards, which matter if you are a government contractor yourself.
Business history (SOS, D&B)
When the company was formed, who runs it, and which related entities share its owners.
County civil · Federal district civil
Customer disputes, unpaid subcontractors and judgments against the vendor.
Federal tax liens · State tax liens · UCC liens
Financial distress that can interrupt supply or leave you with a half-finished job.
International criminal · International civil
Records in the vendor’s home jurisdiction, through in-country researchers.
What a finding looks like
Graded, sourced and matched to the right person.
Each finding tells you what happened, how serious it is and how we know it’s the same person, with the record attached for your file.

Questions
Vendor screening, answered.
Can we screen many vendors at once?
Yes. Several vendors can be submitted at once in the client portal. Each becomes its own case with its own report and status.
Do you cover overseas suppliers?
Yes. We cover 100+ countries through in-country partners, with source-language records and English translations. International work is quoted per jurisdiction.
Is this a background check on the vendor’s employees?
No. We investigate the vendor company and the people who own or control it, for a business relationship. We don’t screen individuals for employment.
How do we keep watching after onboarding?
Continuous monitoring re-screens the vendors you choose and alerts you to new sanctions, litigation or filings.
